It’s been some months since we last wrote about our work on Big Cartel projects. For that time we managed to launch a few new shops.
Dashing Industries was a project we did with design provided by the client. All default Big Cartel pages and elements had a custom design which we successfully implemented. Further more, we integrated a newsletter signup form provided by Mailchimp as well as Dashing Industries blog at Tumblr embedded in the new site. Another site we recently built on the Big Cartel platform with design provided by client, was Peppermintchic. Again, a newsletter signup by Mailchimp was added. We used some custom (meaning non-system) fonts which apparently is quite a common case with designs. All our latest Big Cartel sites have one or more custom fonts.
The last Big Cartel site we launched was for a Canadian client – Pur Enterprises. This one was designed by us (except for the rotating banners which the clients design and change periodically themselves). We also suggested and improved client logo. Here we added a few custom pages like About, FAQ and Bio (click on the sliding images of people in About who are actually the Pur Enterprises team) and embedded a Twitter feed and, again, their blog.
